The Strangest Secret in the World.

The Strangest Secret in the World by Earl Nightingale is one of the earliest self development recordings. A friend of mine recommended it to me and he claims that The Strangest Secret was a primary factor in propelling him toward his goals.

The concept is very similar to the movie The Secret, but Earl Nightingale masterfully describes how to apply The Strangest Secret in your life, step by step. I find it very inspirational and I try to listen to it often.

After over 20 years of studying success he came to the conclusion that all the great successful people of the past, although they disagreed about many things, all agreed on one thing.

The Strangest Secret is simply six words: “We become what we think about.”

I agree with this statement that if you keep your mind focused on what you want instead of what you do not want, if you set clear goals for yourself and think of them often, there is nothing that can stand in your way.
