Adsense Tips You Need to Know

Published by Craig Beckta under Adsense

Adsense is one of the best online advertising programs in existence. A large number of bloggers and web site owners use Adsense ads to create a regular source of income.

Adsense revenue is generated when a visitor to your site clicks through an Adsense ad you have displayed. In this article I will be sharing with you some tips and tricks you will need to employ to maximize your Adsense income.

The first and most important thing to increase your Adsense income is to increase the number of click throughs you receive.

The best way to achieve a higher click through rate is to match your Adsense ads with the look of your website. Your goal is to make sure your Adsense ads appear seam less, make sure to match the background color of your ads with the background color of your website.

The size of your Adsense ads is also crucial to your success. The wider ad formats are generally known to be more effective. For vertical skyscraper ads the 160X600 and for rectangles 336X280 have been proven to be the best.

Placement of your Adsense ads is also important, placing them at the top and to the right will improve your click through rate dramatically. Occasionally inserting them between paragraphs works as well but be sure not to over do it.

One thing to keep in mind though is that Google Adsense only allows you to use 3 ad units and one link unit per page. If you exceed the limit you risk the chance of being banned.

Another way to increase your income is to place a Google Adsense search bar on your page. When a visitor to your site uses your search bar your Google Adsense ID is embedded in all of their Google searches. If they then click on any links while surfing from your site, you make money!

The Google Adsense filter is also a handy feature that you can use to block your competitors from placing ads on your site. Overdoing it with the filter could limit some of your ad options so use it sparingly.

Adsense also allows you to ad channels so you can monitor different ad campaigns to help you determine which ones are performing better.

Feel free to experiment with different colors and placements from time to time if you feel you are not achieving the results you desire.

Well good luck, your Adsense revenue should begin to increase in the next couple of weeks.

Blogging To The Bank Two Review

Published by Craig Beckta under Affiliate Reviews

Well it has been about two weeks since I purchased Blogging to the Bank 2.0 So I thought it was time to add an update to my previous review.

I have to be honest, I was a little skeptical whether or not Rob Benwell’s e-book was worth the money or not. But Blogging to the Bank 2.0 has proved to be definetly worth it.

I was able to get my blog up in running in a matter of days, although it seems to be taking a little longer to incorporate some of the more advanced Web 2.0 techniques.

In Blogging to the Bank 2.0 Rob discusses some of the reasons why it is important to have your own domain name.

I decided having my own domain name was my best option. I took some time looking around and I managed to find a couple of reasonably priced hosts to choose from.

I chose to go with business hosting from Yahoo! Web Hosting because that is the one Rob Benwell recommended but another good option and slightly cheaper would be Hostgator.

It seems to be one of the best in my opinion. There are cheaper ones but Hostgator seems to have the most features and you can install a Wordpress blog with one click.

He also recommends setting up an auto responder, I found Getresponse to be one of the best. I tried out a free auto responder first but it was filled with advertising and they kept spamming me a couple times a day, which became quite annoying.

Another good auto responder is Aweber it has similar features but is slightly more expensive than Getresponse. If you are looking for an auto responder I recommend checking out both and deciding for yourself.

Back to my update Blogging to the Bank 2.0 starts out with the beginning blogger in mind and lays out all the steps necessary to get off to a quick start. There is also tons of information for the experienced blogger as well.

It does a good job of covering the different ways to increase your site traffic which is very important if making money from your blog is something you are interested in.

One feature in Blogging To The Bank 2.0 that I think that is worth the price alone is an extra piece of software Rob includes in the download package.

It is a piece of software called Article Assistance. It helps you easily submit articles you create to 150 article directories in around an hour or so. One of my articles received 187 hits in a week and that is from only one of the sites I submitted it to.

As I incorporate more of the Blogging to the Bank 2.0 techniques, I will post an update on which ones work and which ones are not as successful.

For more information on Blogging to the Bank 2.0 head over to Rob’s site and check it out.

Ultimate Wealth Package

Published by Craig Beckta under Affiliate Reviews

The Ultimate Wealth Package is a very comprehensive course. I have to be honest though I was a little skeptical.

Mark Warren claims that you will be able to earn $200 to $1500 a day from the Ultimate Wealth Package.

It is a pretty hefty claim and whether you earn that kind of money or not, it is entirely up to you. The Ultimate Wealth Package contains everything you will need to get started but it will require consistent effort to succeed.

Here is a partial list of what the package contains.

It includes 6 ebooks written by Mark Warren the creator of the Ultimate Wealth Package covering topics such as Internet marketing, building an opt in list and how to make money from your ebook. In addition to the ebooks you also have access to a VIP area.

The Ultimate Wealth Package VIP area contains 19 audio interviews with marketing guru’s such as Joe Vitale and Yanik Silver.

There is also a learning center with over 30 articles covering topics such as blogs, web copy, setting up your own affiliate program and search engine optimization. These articles alone are worth the price of the package in my opinion.

Also the Ultimate Wealth Package comes with a free website already created for you by Mark’s team of Internet marketing guru’s. The site’s goal is to help you get started making money right away, of course it is up to you to drive the traffic to your site. But Mark Warren has also created an ebook to show you how to get started.

The biggest bonus of the Ultimate Wealth Package VIP area is it includes over 100 downloads consisting of ebooks, scripts, sales letters, and website templates to help you achieve your goal of obtaining ultimate wealth.

The package contains everything you will need to create a successful online business but it should come with a warning like “some effort required.” Realistically it will probably take a couple of weeks before you start earning an online income.

As far as affiliate programs go I rate the Ultimate Wealth Package an 8 out of 10, it is definitely one of the best products of it’s kind on the market.

Web Site Traffic Secrets

Published by Craig Beckta under Blog

Increasing web site traffic is appealing to all of us who have web pages or blogs, or for those of us who promote affiliate programs. I will be showing you a few ways to increase your web site traffic with out spending a lot of money.

One free way to increase your web site traffic is to create a blog at Blogger.com or to create a lens at Squidoo. Both can be up and running in less than an hour and Squidoo also has a revenue sharing plan. Squidoo can be quite addictive and you can create an unlimited number of lenses. I will discuss lenses a little more in an upcoming article.

Facebook and Myspace also are a good way to advertise your links to the rest of the cyber world. You can post messages to your friends online to assist you in generating more web site traffic.

Another free way to increase your web site traffic is to contribute to popular threads at marketing forums with your web site address in your signature column. Warrior Forum.com is one of literally hundreds of forums which you can use to promote your site.

You can also place a free ad at the Free Ad Forum and get involved in some of the popular threads their as well.

You can post press releases at PR.web which is one of the more effective ways to promote your web site or product. It is one of the better sites to help you increase your web site traffic.

Writing articles and submitting them to EzineArticles.com and GoArticles.com to name a few of the hundreds of article web sites on the net. Make sure to place your web site address in the authors box. If it is a popular article it will begin to appear on other web sites as well. Your articles are free to use as long as the bio box is left intact.

If you have an email list keep your subscribers up to date once and awhile and make sure your web site address appears in your signature.

You can try out traffic generating sites like Traffic Swarm or Traffic Digger . These sites are also free.

Pay per click ads from Google or Overture also work quite well but make sure you do your homework first. You could end up spending a lot of money if you don’t do proper keyword research prior to bidding on your key words.

These tips if consistently applied should help you to increase your web site traffic in a few short weeks. Good luck and keep me posted on your results.
